Members of the Hotel get involved for many reasons: - Interest in historic
buildings and the restoration process
- Desire
to volunteer for a local cause
- Intrigue with
the railroad
- Experience and knowledge to share
- Looking to make new friends
Regardless of the reason, thank you for your interest.
Our goal with the restoration of the Hotel is to once
again be able to hold functions in our grand ballroom on the third floor. Your membership dues, additional contributions
and grants will allow us to focus on the various elements of our building that must be renovated before we actually make it
to the third floor:
1.
Repair North Foundation
2.
Install a Bathroom
3.
Build a Kitchenette in the basement and deal with problems (moisture etc.)
4. Repair Decks and build Exterior Stairs
5. HVAC systems analysis and implementation
6. Restore the third floor Ballroom

The Merwinsville Hotel Restoration is a 501C(3) organization. Your tax deductable
donations all go towards the on going restoration and running of the Hotel. If you would like to make a project oriented
donation and have it applied towards a specific project, please let us know.
