Orbs

We're very excited to continue the Glass Sphere/Orb Hunt that we kicked off in 2021 (in celebration of the Hotel's 50th anniversary of the restoration project). There are glass orbs, created by Nunwell Glass in Lakeville, Connecticut, hidden at 23 historic sites and non-profits in the Litchfield and Fairfield County area. Along with the clear glass orbs, we have 23 colored ones (for 2023).
The rules are simple....If you find one, you get to keep it! Just be sure to register it here. If you find another one, please leave it (or re-hide it) for someone else to find.
We want to thank all 23 sites that are participating (at no cost to them other than coming up with a great place to hide the orbs). By inviting other non-profits to take part in our "hunt", we can all benefit. It's so important for all our local non-profits to continue to thrive and to grow - especially after being "on pause" due to the pandemic. We hope this event will be a way to help achieve that.
